Pippa: Family

Victoria Ann Cross, like every other of the Cross family, was brought up in a lavish enviroment which taught her to be the 'perfect lady.' She talked correctly, she walked correctly, ate correctly, and behaved correctly. 'Correct' in the Cross family, means docile and obident at all times, no matter the situation. But Victoria was a reckless child and broke out of her leash of lace and pearls as often as she could. Her mother punished her soundly for it whenever she was caught, but this didn't quell her wild nature. Her mother wanted her to attened Beauxbatons, yet she attended Hogwarts instead, if only for two years. Her mother wanted her to marry a wealthy aristocrat, instead, Victoria eloped with a Squib named Edward when she was seventeen. This act would break her of her rebellious habits for good. The couple hadn't planned on ice on the road, and Edward's car was soon spinning off the road in a heap of crushed metal and glass. Victoria emerged with nary a scratch, Edward, however, didn't. It was at his funeral that Victoria swore to never break any rules ever again.

Three years later she married a man named Charles and raised a daughter, Samantha Cross, who would later marry a man named Jacob, and together thay had a girl named Pippa Ann Cross. Only three years later, however, Victoria's daughter and her husband died of tuberculosis which was, at that time, uncurable by both Muggle and Wizard medicine. Pippa has now become like a second daughter to Victoria, posessing the firey streak she had as a teenager, one that Victoria is often trying to damper, yet knowing her efforts are in vain. Secretly, even through her strict teachings of manners and propriety, Victoria wishes Pippa will keep her firey streak she had long ago.
