Physical description:
Chacha is a not-so happy mix between short and gangly; he stands at 5 feet, three inches, but carries himself awkwardly because of his long limbs. His head is big compared to his body, not helped by his unusual hairstyles which range in color and shape. Without dye, his hair is sleek black and falls in choppy bits to his jaw, but he rarely leaves it plain and without a style. His favorite and most frequented style are spikes swept to one side of his head, one or two pieces slashing along his forehead. In school hours he abandons his many piercings, though they can be seen on his ears, eyebrows, nose and mouth when he has them in. His facial structure is much like a cat, with pointed cheekbones and a narrow chin, jaw line sharp and smooth. Black, neatly plucked eyebrows sit low on his square forehead, just above a pair of large black eyes usually skimmed with eye shadow. His nose is flat but well shaped, dipping off above his large mouth almost always upturned in a grin. His hands and arms are bony for their length, a faint hint of muscle along his shoulders, not much to speak of since he rarely works out, despite his active lifestyle. His waist is narrow and his legs have a bit more shape than his arms, as he enjoys walking and running to expend his seemingly endless energy.
Personality:
Chacha can easily be described as a walking headache. He is loud, obnoxious, and carries enough energy inside him to power a whole city, saying he’s simply hyperactive is an understatement. His attention is easily swayed, especially if the object is colorful and large, but if he tries hard enough he can keep a conversation going for a moment or two. He is friendly to any boy but holds an unnatural paranoia of girls; although he’s sixteen he is still convinced that the opposite sex has cooties. Chacha himself is often the one to avoid girls, not the other way around. If a girl does approach him he’ll most likely stutter a few words and make a bee-line for the nearest door. Get him around boys his age, however, his nervousness is gone and he’s back to his usual annoying self. Among guitars he also collects many bizarre snacks, which he carries with him at all times, some of which are his own. His clothing reflects his personality perfectly: Loud, colorful, and very unusual. He wouldn’t be caught dead in a plain t-shirt and jeans. Because of his odd nature Chacha is often mocked and pointed at, but being the carefree boy he is, he ignores it and goes on with his life.
History:
The Takeshi’s couldn’t have been happier when they discovered a baby was on its way. Noriko, Chacha’s mother, had been told that she would be unable to have children, yet she and Daisuke didn’t give up hope, and their dreams were granted. He was born in mid-summer on a perfect day in a Muggle hospital; neither of his parents have a history of magic. They had lived in a Muggle part of Europe and, like most Muggles, were blissfully unaware of anything magical at all. Imagine their surprise one day when their eight year old began to sprout branches from his ears. With the aid of a Wizard they were informed of their son’s origins, and of the letter to be expected in his eleventh year. Despite knowing it beforehand, they were no less shocked when an owl flew straight into their window and plopped a letter in Chacha’s birthday cake. The boy, unlike his parents, was ecstatic and wanted nothing more than to go straight to Hogwarts to learn magic. It took him hours of whining and sweet-talking to persuade his parents to let him go. Loving as they were, the two couldn’t say no to Chacha’s pouting face and soon adjusted themselves to the prospect of a Magical world outside their own. It took them some time, but they did it. Chacha’s childhood is nothing short of perfectly happy. He had wonderful parents, a wonderful family, and frequent vacations to his parent’s hometown in Nagoya, Japan. The magical part was an added bonus. Even now he remains happy and spoiled, always taking extra measures to not concern his parents who write to him every week by owl.
